Birth Doula Support

• 2 prenatal visits

  -Main focus of our first visit is getting to know each other and building your birth vision plan, together, we will create a personalized birth vision that reflects your desires, values, and faith, so you can enter birth feeling prepared, peaceful, and empowered.

  -The main focus of our second visit will be discovering the comfort measures that work best for you during labor. We will also go over prenatal exercises to help encourage optimal positioning for both you and your baby for birth. In addition, I’ll teach you and your partner effective labor positions and counter-pressure techniques to help you feel prepared and supported during labor.

• Continuous support through text/calls.

• 24 hour on call support starting from 37 weeks

• Continuous labor supports

  -I’ll arrive either to your home/location of birth when labor is established.

• Comfort measures (positions, breathwork, etc.)

• Advocacy support

• Immediate postpartum care

• Help in initiating first breastfeed with baby.

• I’ll stay with you up to 2 hours after the baby is born.

  Spiritual Support

• Prayer during labor

• Speaking scripture over your birth

• Creating a peaceful, faith-filled atmosphere

Postpartum Support

• 2 postpartum visits

  -The main focus of our first postpartum visit is to check in on how both you and your baby are doing physically, emotionally, and mentally as you adjust to this new season. We will discuss how feeding and breastfeeding are going, answer any questions you may have, and address any concerns that arise during your recovery. I will also provide encouragement, education, and helpful resources to further support you and your family during the postpartum period.

  -Our second postpartum visit will serve as our final check-in and farewell visit. This time is meant to ensure you feel confident, supported, and cared for as you continue your motherhood journey. We will go over any remaining questions, discuss any final concerns or needs, and reflect on your birth and postpartum experience if desired. This visit will also include a special farewell gift from me as a way to celebrate and honor you and your growing family.
